Chapter 138

Mortal Dreams in the Divine Cup

Published on:

In the Divine Hall.

Clear, silver light rivers converged around the moon, finally merging into it.

The previously dim moonlight suddenly burst forth, illuminating the entire dream realm.

Yin Shen's figure reappeared in the Divine Hall, standing on the divine platform like a constellation of light and shadow.

Hila, the messenger of God who had been waiting beneath the platform, approached and looked up as the divine being slowly descended from above.

"God! You have returned," Hila greeted with reverence.

Yin Shen had just returned from a tour of the mortal world, and His mood seemed rather good.

As God descended from the divine platform, He spoke to the dream spirit.

"Hila," Yin Shen acknowledged, "The Trilobite Men have been progressing well. They've shed their former savage state."

Unlike other spirits who merely frolicked within the Spirit Country, never maturing, the dream spirit's favorite pastime was observing the Trilobite Man world from the dream realm.

"Indeed!" Hila exclaimed. "Their cities have transformed completely, boasting many marvels unseen even in the Spirit Country!"

The spirit admitted sheepishly, "Many of the gifts I've been giving to the little spirits lately were learned from the Trilobite Men."

Yin Shen nodded, but His form moved towards the outside of the Divine Hall.

The dream spirit immediately followed, keeping pace just behind God.

"God," Hila inquired eagerly, "Where did You journey this time? Might Hila accompany You on Your next visit?"

Yin Shen replied briefly, "The Temple of Truth."

The spirit library was a place Yin Shen frequently visited, and in the mortal realm, the Temple of Truth was the place with the most numerous and mysterious collections of books.

After a moment's thought, He added.

"The latest divine techniques and rituals researched by Stan Tito's students are quite interesting. He is a good student and also a good teacher."

"He is an idealist."

Hila seemed to hear uncertainty in Yin Shen's words: "Is being an idealist not good?"

Yin Shen turned His head to look at Hila. "Idealists are the ones who create eras, but..." He trailed off, leaving the thought unfinished.

At this point, for some reason, Yin Shen didn't continue.

The dream spirit Hila looked at God. She didn't really care about the answer to this question; she just wanted to talk more with God.

She noticed that God had become more talkative recently, no longer remaining indifferent to everything.

Or rather, He had begun to display some human-like emotions.

Perhaps it was because of the ability to briefly descend to the mortal realm that the divine being was no longer completely isolated from the world and universe.

Once, He had been separated from everything, with nothing in this world having any relevance to Him.

But now.

He could finally step one foot into this world.

The spirit followed behind God, and without realizing it, found they had walked out of the Divine Hall: "God, where are You going?"

Yin Shen: "To the moon."

Nine divine dreams floated in the Divine Cup, but upon closer inspection, one would find that within the divine dreams were countless tiny bubbles, representing the various ritual arrays and miraculous objects derived from the nine basic ritual arrays.

Now, besides Yin Shen's divine dream, the Divine Cup also carried various mortal dreams, each full of ingenious ideas.

One mortal dream, in particular, was very interesting, and Yin Shen specifically called it up for observation.

"Haru's Magic Fire Technique and Fire Element Ritual Array Refinement."

Or it could also be called Haru's Fire. This was an entirely new ritual array, unlike anything before.

Because it controlled gas.

Sandean's student, Haru, had discovered a combustible gas, which he called the fire element.

He first tried to incorporate it into ritual arrays, but because no single ritual array could produce it alone, it required the conversion of several rituals before finally cultivating the fire element.

He wanted to fuse this fire element into his own Seal Spirit, creating a unique third-level Seal Priest—the Fire Element Seal Priest.

However, because there was no fire element divine technique imprint in the Divine Cup, he was stuck at this step, unable to move forward.

Yin Shen had seen Haru's book "Haru's Magic Fire Technique and Fire Element Ritual Array Refinement" in the Temple of Truth, which suddenly reminded Him of the mortal dreams collected in the Divine Cup.

"Hila," Yin Shen declared, "You'll now be able to craft even more wondrous toys for the little spirits."

After saying this, God's finger touched Haru's dream about the fire element ritual.

A power belonging to the source of all abilities penetrated it, and the ordinary dream instantly erupted with eternal power and color.

It expanded violently.

The dream within the bubble transformed from vague, hazy fragments into a vast ocean of raging flames, with an eternally flowing fire element beneath the sea.

God spoke softly: "Fire Element Divine Technique Law Imprint."

This dream bubble floated out of the divine dream, becoming an independent law dream.

The Fire Element Divine Technique Law Imprint was born.

From now on, spirits could come here to inherit this imprint.

These miraculous objects no longer needed multiple conversions and complex procedures to create the so-called "fire element" continuously.

Next, Yin Shen successively illuminated the Food Paste Divine Technique Imprint, Sugar Divine Technique Imprint, Abyssal Magic Gold Divine Technique Imprint, and various other mortal dreams.

One by one, brilliant dreams floated out, making the Divine Cup even more mystical and powerful.

Besides the castle, lighthouse, and the most secretive Temple of Truth, each formal teacher in the Temple of Truth also owned a ritual workshop.

Haru's ritual workshop was located on a cliff.

It was far from the busiest area of the island, isolated and suspended.

Haru had a penchant for experimenting with dangerous elements, often resulting in explosions and fires. As a precaution, his teacher, the Sage of Truth Sandean, had relocated his ritual workshop to the cliff.

This time, Haru was again refining the fire element.

He placed various sacrificial materials on the ritual stone tablet, and after several sacrifices, the materials finally transformed into an unknown liquid.

After changing several ritual stone tablets, he was finally about to refine the fire element.

Beside him were glass jars prepared to contain the fire element, connected to the ritual stone tablet through glass tubes.

However, just as the fire element was about to be born.

"Dong!"

Haru suddenly heard the sound of a bubble bursting, and he found himself plunged into darkness, bewildered.

His consciousness was pulled from his body, suddenly falling into a world of eternal silence.

"What's happening?"

Haru became panicked for a moment, but he suddenly felt this scene was familiar.

He had experienced the same feeling when he first signed the Spirit Realm Covenant.

Sure enough.

He turned around and saw infinite light erupting behind him, a brilliant sun.

As Haru gradually approached, the sun grew larger and larger until it was boundless.

He saw a golden giant cup revealed within the sun, filling the entire world. It was the source of the Dream Ability, the Divine Artifact carrying Yinsai's divine dream.

The Divine Cup.

He saw a bubble containing a world of flames rise from the Divine Cup, and a crimson divine technique imprint projected down, entering his consciousness.

The name of it immediately appeared in Haru's mind: "Fire Element Divine Technique Imprint."

"Boom!"

A violent explosion suddenly erupted from the cliff on the Island of Mist.

The intense sound of the explosion alarmed everyone in the castle, and a large group of priests ran out to see Haru's ritual workshop engulfed in flames.

A Seal Spirit, its entire body ablaze, burst through the roof and appeared on the cliff.

The scene left everyone in awe. While the students appeared terrified and panicked, the teachers' initial shock quickly gave way to expressions of envy.

A new third-level divine technique belonging to priests had been born.

The ritual power of the dream spirits allowed the Trilobite Men to give birth to new Wisdom Ability divine techniques, while the Trilobite Men's Wisdom Ability divine techniques simultaneously added new imprints to the Dream Ability Divine Artifact.

The two seemed to form a mutually promoting cycle, expanding round after round until reaching an unimaginable state.

The Sage of Truth, Sandean, looked up from the window towards the Seal Spirit. As the creator of the third-level Seal Priest, how could he not understand what had just happened?

"A new Law Imprint?"

Outside Anho City, in the Ice Temple, the Food Priest Lan, who was trying a new sugar distribution method, suddenly experienced a distortion in his form.

A Seal Spirit possessing several imprints appeared, standing in the spacious temple.

The temple, over ten meters high, could barely contain this Seal Spirit.

Its appearance was very strange.

Its body was composed of a whole piece of transparent sugar crystal, its hat and hair were made of noodles, and Lan's food paste flowed within its body.

The other priests in the temple exclaimed in surprise, their eyes revealing uncontrollable envy as they looked at Lan.

"Third-level priest."

"Seal Spirit."

In the ocean, a team of soldiers from the Abyss Kingdom was heading towards a sea trench that seemed to lead directly to the earth's core, led by a female Abyss knight wearing a golden mask.

They stopped to set up camp at the edge of the abyss, where there was also a small village of Abyss people.

Suddenly, a Seal Spirit composed entirely of Abyssal Magic Gold rose from the ground.

Transformed into a metal giant, it traveled through the sea, heading towards the deep sea abyss.
