The Great Poet and the Bone Book

Beneath the castle lay an enormous cavern.
A group of fierce-looking Trilobite Men wielding weapons advanced slowly. As they drew closer to the Sun Cup Flower grove, their breathing grew more rapid.
These battle-hardened warriors, usually fearless, now trembled like novices on their first battlefield.
Their hands gripped bone spears and stone hammers tightly, constantly swallowing. With each step, they glanced at their companions, exchanging looks as if to encourage one another.
They were approaching the greatest secret of the Yinsai people, the burial place of the last saint to enter the realm of the gods—the great poet Tito.
They were about to unveil the mystery of what the great poet Tito had left behind centuries ago.
More than that, they were exploring a secret belonging to God.
All of this made their blood boil, but simultaneously filled them with deep anxiety, unease, and even fear.
Their line of sight was level with the golden flower cups.
Within the underground cavern, they saw a small courtyard, a dwelling hidden behind the Sun Cup Flowers.
The Sun Cup Flowers extended from within the courtyard, their fluorescence flowing out like a river of light.
This was the cottage where Star and Polo had once lived.
Everyone held their breath, looking to their leader.
"It's here! It's really here!" exclaimed the tall Trilobite Man holding a bone spear, pointing at the structure amidst the sea of flowers.
"We've found it, we're going to be rich," said the battle-hardened soldier carrying a stone hammer, already envisioning his future wealth and nobility.
The convoy leader was clearly no ordinary person; his knowledge ran deeper.
His pupils dilated instantly, his expression becoming dazed.
His mouth opened involuntarily, and after a moment of hesitation, he spoke.
"This is the place where Polo, the Messenger of God, and the Star Queen spent their final days—a relic of myth."
"It's also where Saint Tito began his pilgrimage, the origin of the 'Hymn of the King of Wisdom'."
The convoy leader turned back, smiling at his subordinates.
"Gentlemen, welcome to the birthplace of myth and epic."
They cheered exuberantly, their steps quickening.
However, the flower grove before them began to sway with their movements.
The beautiful Sun Cup Flowers suddenly opened their maws wide, snapping at them. The serene scene transformed into a chaotic frenzy in an instant.
The convoy leader at the front was prepared. He took out a specially made bone powder and sprinkled it on his group.
Immediately, the Sun Cup Flowers calmed down, as if they could no longer sense the intruders' presence.
They passed through the flower grove, approached the arched courtyard, and stepped through the stone gate.
Their hurried footsteps suddenly ceased. Everyone stood still at the garden's edge, not daring to take another step forward.
They saw the remains of the great poet Tito.
He was surrounded by a large grove of Sun Cup Flowers in the center. Behind him was a boat reflecting silver light, its once-white sails now filthy and tattered.
But it was precisely because of this that the ancient and weathered aura it emitted was even more intense.
A sacred power seemed to envelop the flower grove, touching the hearts of all the Trilobite Men who had trespassed into this forbidden land.
The poet rested quietly against the hull of the boat, his head tilted in eternal slumber.
In his arms, he still held the final chapter he had written.
The moment the bone book appeared, it captured everyone's attention.
For two hundred years, legends and speculations had circulated among the Yinsai.
Everyone had been searching for the great poet's final secret, and now, at last, it was confirmed.
"The great poet Tito."
"Saint Tito, the last person to enter the God-Given Land and meet the gods, acknowledged by both the Messenger of God and the divine."
"What he's holding is 'The Final Chapter'."
"The legendary bone book."
Everyone couldn't help but shout in unison, each voice louder than the last.
"And look, the Divine Boat!"
"Don't you see? That's the Divine Boat!"
"That's a treasure bestowed by the Messenger of God, said to be a supreme artifact taken from the realm of dreams."
Someone began reciting a story they had heard since childhood: "The great poet rode the wind, passing through the Abyss Kingdom, and even the sinners dared not obstruct his path."
The scene was filled with excited chatter, but no one dared to step forward.
Finally, the convoy leader cautiously approached. He came before the Divine Boat and the great poet, reverently kneeling before the remains.
"Great Saint Tito! Please forgive my trespass, though my sin is unforgivable."
"Our kingdom needs the secret you left behind, that legendary power."
"It's all for the return to God's glory, all to restore the splendor of God."
He dared not look directly at the sacred remains of the great poet Tito. Lowering his head, he raised his hands above his head, reaching for the bone book, intending to take it from the great poet's embrace.
But the moment his fingers touched the bone book, something unexpected happened.
The remains of the great poet Tito instantly turned to ash, the dust carried away by a nameless wind.
The flower grove moved in unison, all the Sun Cup Flowers releasing their pollen towards the sky.
An image appeared in the sky.
It was a mythical being with a divine countenance, wearing a golden robe, holding a female Trilobite Man in his arms, lying in a whirlpool like the Milky Way.
Everyone looked up, including the leader kneeling on the ground.
The leader, still kneeling, raised his head to look at the vision above.
"It's the scene of Polo, the Messenger of God, and the Star Queen's passing. I never imagined that the great poet Tito remembered this scene until his death, and even imprinted it in the Sun Cup Flowers."
At this moment, the nameless wind that had stirred up the ashes suddenly transformed into the phantom of the great poet.
A voice, sorrowful and ethereal, echoed through the air.
"Ah!"
"So it was my dream."
"I've awakened."
The shadow of the poet Tito followed the rotating Milky Way, accompanying the divine messenger Polo and the Star Queen, and dissipated together above the Sun Cup Flower grove.
Everyone was struck speechless by this stunning and beautiful scene, the entire underground cavern falling into complete silence.
"Rumble."
With a thunderous sound, the entire cavern collapsed.
Huge waves rushed in, swirling seawater engulfing and destroying everything in its path.
Amidst the surging waves and whirlpools, the convoy leader clutched the bone book tightly.
He anxiously looked back at the other precious treasure.
"The Divine Boat."
The convoy leader certainly knew the significance of the Divine Boat. It was an item that had come from the God-Given Land, a unique treasure in the world.
No one knew what other secrets it might hold, or if it possessed powers and uses unknown to them.
However, at this moment, he could only watch helplessly as the Divine Boat, this treasure from the realm of the gods, was swept away. He watched as the silver boat was carried by the huge waves into the other side of the passage, plunging into the depths of the sea—
Above ground.
The quiet night in Tito Town was also awakened by this thunderous sound.
Seawater burst forth from the ground, forming fountains that gushed upwards.
The awakened townspeople and craftsmen rushed out, looking towards the direction of the castle.
"What's happening?"
"What's going on?"
"Look!"
"It's falling!"
"It's collapsing!"
The tall and majestic castle, with the ground sinking and amid rumbling sounds, crumbled into ruins.
It had taken the Tito family over a hundred years and generations of people to continuously expand and build such a magnificent castle.
Yet its disappearance took only an instant.
